In order to give something back to the handful of label fans out there, a secret ballot was dissemenated enabling them to select candidates for a spot on the CD. After gathering up the few ballots filled out and analyzing all of the data, tracks primarily from records released in the last 1.5 years as well as select tracks from the label’s storied back catalog were selected. Bands such as ENVY, HOT CROSS, LICKGOLDENSKY, MALADY and more kept popping up on the selection lists and will all find a place on the CD. To sweeten the deal, this hot little item also includes a second CD of unreleased tracks from bands on the label as well as side projects from people on the label. It features never before heard tracks from familiar bands such as CITY OF CATERPILLAR, TRANSISTOR TRANSISTOR, COLISEUM, A DAY IN BLACK & WHITE and others. As well as some lesser known bands like WE ARE EMPIRE, AVORZA, GODS & QUEENS, et. al. Level Plane would like to thank all music fans out there.
