Though Gospel can trace its lineage to some of the more radical and obscure bands of the late nineties (IATR, helen of troy, knives and green-water), its sound is a unique departure from most things heard today. Adam Dooling, Sean Miller, Vincent Roseboom and Jon Pastir forgo convention to create a drunken cantor that is as primitive as it is progressive. Through colorful and chaotic modulations, Gospel tells of the human condition with an uncomfortable honesty... yet passes no judgment upon it. crazy
