Been a long time since I rock and roll. Dig this: Books Lie is still together and yeah, we still play shows, and yeah we still tour. The new EP "Hall of Fame of Fire" 12"/CD is out now. The cd version contains most of our old 7"s and some odds and ends. We've gotten some really funny reviews lately. Let me set a couple things straight: 1) If any of us had a trustfund, I wouldn't be wasting my time with hardcore, I'd be doing bonghits while snowboarding somewhere in colorado. 2) We all drink and always have 3) This is brooklyn and I'll be damned if I'm gonna make dumpstering bagels my political platform. Our new van is so hott.

If you would like us to play your town, be advised: we have been screwed
a few too many times lately on gas money, so some kind of agreement will
need to be reached beforehand if we don't know you. Gaurantees are really
lame, but so is driving 3 hours to play 10 minutes for 27 dollars with a broken PA.. We also REALLY
hate playing last.
3 of the 4 of us work on weekends so we really appreciate y'alls patience when we sometimes have to say no to shows. We want to play but we all have to pay the landlord, and fear the reaper. I suck at updating this page, so for mp3's and
stuff try some of the fine urls to the left
